Guardian obit for Patricia Brown, aged 103.

A Bletchley Park codebreaker during WWII.

Likely she was the oldest of the remaining names. I think there’s a couple of dozen still around though... all between 94 and 100. All QO material.

Someone else should make a list of them. I’ve retired from DL list making. My work is very busy again now that BoomerRemover-19 is under control in Blighty. :P

Astronomer Kees de Jager turned 100 last week. He wrote his last scientific paper 2 years ago and he used to be in great shape (running a 10k at the age of 91) until he took a nasty fall last year. He had to follow his centenary on Zoom but was still able to give interviews (and he was the coverboy of the dutch New Scientist).

Moratorium on lists. Let's make 2021 a list-free year. The only threads that should be allowed them are:

Rugby player Eric Tweedale recently got to 100.

Also, about the supercentenarian former Costa Rica first lady Marita Quiros: She has a therapy doll (usually used for people with dementia) in a photo from February. Doesn't mean she "100%" will die soon (as Hester Ford lived with Alzheimer's for atleast 3 or 4 years before dying at the age of 116) but combined with her age, probably gone by the end of this year.

Any news or new pictures of Ruth Apilado? Celebrated her 113th on 30th of last month

Some news from the people I picked in the Centenarian deadpool.

Harry Goldsworthy recently celebrated his 107th birthday. He's still living in his own home and fit enough to ride a motorcycle... or at least to sit on it.

Ruth Apilado is now Illinois' oldest living person.

And also, after the death of Hester Ford, the oldest living American is now Thelma Sutcliffe:

The "Vodka shot before going to sleep" general.

I've picked this guy in two pools but I'd be happy if he lived to 110. Seems to be a nice person

They look younger than their actual age.

gcreptile... Harry, Ruth and Thelma are eating the same things.

I'm fed up of eating the same food, every day.

I have known people to eat themselves sick.

I really want to meet Harry, Ruth and Thelma... I want to eat the same... it is what I would like to know, if possible.
