The Dead Of 2014

Recommended Posts

Thats two comedy legends gone in one week _wonder if there will be a third?

With the demise of Francis "Captain Scarlet" Matthews yesterday and Casey "Shaggy" Kasem today, the same could be said for voice actors...

Speaking of which, the last time I looked the legendary Ken Nordine (b. 1920) was still breathing.

it is literally the case that most people are still alive. There are more people alive in the world today than have lived and died in t he whole of human history! I think that's the case anyway

Pretty sure that's an urban myth...

Many more dead people in the past than those still alive today. I forget the exacting maths behind the best study but off the top of my head it was something like 50 fold more dead down the years than those currently alive in our over populated world today.

Try this link...

http://www.prb.org/P...vedonEarth.aspx

About 108 billion ever and currently about 7 billion alive today, that's more like 15 fold in the past.

So, a new thread....name 101 billion dead people!

Just get everyone to fill in their name on the way out....

Haven't they already gone, that's the point?

There were six men in Birmingham

In Guildford there's four

That were picked up and tortured

And framed by the law

And the filth got promotion

But they're still doing time

For being Irish in the wrong place

And at the wrong time

There goes Luis Suarez's career. http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/28008605

Oh ho ho another "something died!" post in this thread. Getting annoying now. Besides it's football for christ's sake. He'll probably get a slap on the wrist compared to what you would get if you did that to someone at work. Another 10 game ban or something at most.

At the age of 95 Olga Kotelko was winning medals for running a few weeks ago. Sadly today a brain hemorrhage was the winner http://timesofsandie...amid-book-fame/

This woman's story is too fascinating to be ruined by a guest shitpost. She held pretty much every female nonagenarian athletics record, recently ran a 100 metres in 22 seconds and was still able to complete in the long and high jump in her nineties.
