In the end I didn't pick him and just as well, as looking up old knights there I've just noticed he died in December aged 95. Former chairman of IPC and Midland Bank. He has furthered the long list of Question Time episodes where all the guests are now dead, appearing in 1981 opposite Rhodes Boyson, Donald Dewar and Baroness Seear.
