Recommended Posts

Just found out that Donna Douglas, who played Elly mae Clampett on the Beverly Hillbillies, died yesterday (Thursday) morning at the age of 81 http://abcnews.go.co...r-dead-27967328

Really? I'd never have known that from the FIVE POSTS ABOVE YOURS MENTIONING IT.

That's IMDB being a troll or extremely stupid as Jimmy Perry's death would make the news easily...

Edward Brooke, first black US senator since Reconstruction, dies

Unless someone actually picked him, it's a bit of a miss.

I was sure someone had on the Deathrace, but - apparently - not.

Man, it's only the beginning of the year, and us Yanks have already been hit hard. We've lost three major celebrities (former New York governor Mario Cuomo, actress Donna Douglas, and ESPN SportsCenter Anchor Stuart Scott) in the course of three days.

I'm surprised that there weren't that many Scott picks on the competitive side to my knowledge. Granted, not all the teams are known yet, but he was young, guaranteed to get something in the Mail, and the fact he didn't tweet since mid November suggested he was circling the drain.

France also is not spared by the reaper :

Claude "Framboisier" Chamboisier, known of every frenchies that watched tv in the 80s & 90s died today from a pancreatic cancer.

He was 64, I'm surprised his illness didn't spread over the web earlier...
