They've spent a decade being labelled at every opportunity as profligate with the public finances. They've been labelled as socialist rabble rousers, who are out of touch with a nation who wants Brexit. The last truly comprehensive election results they can focus on saw the Tories, who had been in office a decade, secure their biggest majority in 30 years. What message does that send? No government in history has lost a majority like that in a single election. They tack too far to the left, they lose out to the Lib Dems in the home counties and the Tories just keep saying 'Jeremy Corbyn' as often as they can. They tack too far to the right, they're accused of selling out and not being radical enough. The SNP are not truly left wing. Scotland is naturally left wing and the SNP have changed their spots until they get their pretenderendum. Apparently Rees-Morgue will get a promotion, Thérèśé Ćòfféŷ will remain in cabinet and Kemi Badenough is set for Education Secretary. It’s mindblowingly bad. You’d think, having said all that, the polls should crush the Tories like a beetle under a boot. And that doesn't take into account the tactical voters like me. I'll be voting Lib Dem as they have held my constituency in the past, with Labour a very distant third.
