I wouldn't even fancy Penn Badgley if he had Penny Dreadful's personality, and to put that in perspective I still fancied him when he was sawing a freshly created corpse to bits in You.

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted May 14 Labour had a big event tonight at the Science Museum, major party heavyweights mingling with CEOs from some of the biggest companies.Y'know, the kind of shindig the Tories often held back when people thought funding them would gift them good times that would last forever! DCI Frank Burnside 3,887 Posted May 14 Does it necessarily have to be an Essex MP ? (If it is a defection). See some people guessing that might be someone like Caroline Noakes on the back of the vote regarding MP's arrested for sexual offences being barred from the parliementary estate

YoungWillz 21,046 Posted May 15 Tory absolutely floundering on housing issues on Politics Live. Wants to talk about London (let's all blame Khan). Focus of these bastards still on the the South East (because levelling up is a joke, right?). Look love, if you hadn't allowed the free market to allow the huge influx of properties being snapped up by Saudis, Russians and Chinese, the vast majority of whom leave them empty!!! The massive prices and rents in the Capital are the result of 40 years of failure to protect. And that has fed through to other areas, the demand being for properties outside London. Never mind the two, three, four or more houses snapped up by landlords in holiday areas, leaving the populace of those areas living with their parents until they are 40 plus at least.

What hasn't helped is the prohibition on renting out houses that fall below EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) Band E. This disqualifies a lot of older properties (including my own house). And it is or was proposed to raise the minimum to Band C! There's a big story on the BBC news page today about the shortage of rental properties, yet this massive factor doesn't get a mention.
