A Reform Candidate writes

Quote

- Pride in their unique culture

I'd be interested to know, does that extend to people whose grandparents aren't called -son or -dóttir?

St George's Cross avatars on Facebook think it's a gotcha to call this cultural appropriation. Same with Scottish-born South Asian guys wearing kilts at weddings. It's not cultural appropriation, it's pride in the culture you grew up in.

Give Rachel Chinouriri a listen, by the way.

The people of Fylde have had enough of their campaign fund misusing MP.

I mean, great work, but perhaps not as memorable as what the people of Birmingham Northfield did for their MP.

Rhys-Mogg about to start on "panel" on The Westminster Hour, arguing for an electoral pact Tory/Reform

All the reason I need to turn off the live link, now!

I am absolutely boiling with rage at this story: Man told he is not British after 42 years in UK. I urge you to read it. These are the fucking sickening depths the Tory cunts at the Home Office will sink to. He’s had a mortgage, kids, paid taxes since the 70s. He’s been here longer than ex-chancellor Nadhim Zahawi.

There's a GoFundMe page to help out his legal case, just putting that out there.

A welcome bit of good news is that the GoFundMe has raised getting on for 39 grand. That should be enough to cover the legal fees, with the rest being split down the middle between a food bank and the Boaz trust who provide support and accommodation for Asylum seekers who’ve subsequently become homeless.

Hopefully the next update will be that they’ve won their case!

Shouldn't bloody have to.  Home Office should just acknowledge that there's been a fuck-up and do the necessary.

Yes, of course this should be the case but, y'know, Tories gonna Tory. And James Shithole Cleverly is the Home Sec, a man completely incapable of forming his own opinions.

This lobotomised Geoff Capes-ogram seems to be under the impression that Carol Vorderman is an MP. (indeed, it's a shame she's not)

I was but a teen when the infected blood scandal was revealed.

That's how long this has being going on.

Hillsborough, Iraq, Post Office, Windrush, Grenfell Tower - I could go on about Westminster's failings or deliberate misinformation/actions during my lifetime.

Maybe it will be the Covid vaccine next - who knows?

Every failure led to deaths and the ruined lives of generations of families. But let's talk about tax cuts.

Absolutely chilling listening to the verbal delivery on the blood scandal.

There is another side to this. The absolute shitstorm of a Government, by decree, banning all gay men from donating blood, because of the risk of HIV. All while a screening test was available in 23 other countries. All while blood was imported from other countries from convicts and drug users. All while using ever larger pools of donations from other risky people in the UK, blinded by the Government's homophobia.

Causing many people not to be able to get insurance. Causing many willing donors like myself, a universal blood donor, being unable to help save lives.

The scariest thing of all is people at the top the very top and those above government  are just pure evil and want to hurt, destroy, cause chaos and kill people. But the General population just think  they're incompetent, stupid or want to enrich themselves. If they lead people down these predetermined excuses then their true intentions are hidden, their disgusting actions are explained away and people will never arrive at the truth.

If you answer the question to a lot of political decisions with "they want you and the people to suffer and die" most make sense. Now I'm sure there's good local councillors and MPs who genuinely care and want what's best but they'll never get anywhere near power and are deliberately kept far from power and some of them if they push it end up dead.

BTW there's no bigger example of shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic quite like tax cuts.

If you answer the question to a lot of political decisions with "they're lizard people from a parallel dimension" most make sense too, doesn't mean it's accurate. There's a lot of selfish and incompetent and entitled people in politics, many are negligent, few are inherently evil.

Tell you who is evil: those who plant insane ideas in the minds of vulnerable, mentally feeble people like the engineer. Cruelty.

I saw something on Facebook a few days ago. For reasons best known to Mark Zuckerberg, their algorithms threw up some alt-right meme about "tyrants rule because we let them get away with it. RESIST." and all I could think was, "You're talking about Biden, when that's exactly what's enabling Trump." Can't see the wood for the trees.

Speaking of deranged people...Fiona Harvey, off of Baby Reindeer's real-life Martha, apparently harrassed Keir Starmer with nearly 300 abusive emails. (excuse the link to The S*n)
