Just came across this news article from last month confirming that war novelist Bill Spence (wiki) aka Jessica Blair (when he's writing romance fiction), turned 100!

Retired three years ago after suffering a fall. A unique DDP pick.

Graham Caveney releases a 3rd memoir, this time, with more cancer:

https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-diary-of-a-dying-man-graham-caveneys-poignant-cancer-memoir/

He was given 18 months to live with treatment in May 2022. He reluctantly accepted treatment, and it must have worked mostly, or he'd be dead by now.

But then, he's still being called "a dying man", so he should definitely stay on the lists.

Gail Lumet Buckley, author who chronicled her family history in two volumes, died 18 July, aged 86.

Not insignificantly, the family is the Horne family, whose number included Buckley's mother, Lena.

The Lumet in her name is from director Sidney, to whom she was once married.

Allegedly shagged Shakin Stevens, something that got dragged up again when people were discussing the mismatch of Courtney Love and Steve Coogan.

Francine Pascal author of Sweet Valley high books died.  The funny thing is google says she was 86, but Wiki claims her at 92. .. I had her on my long list thinking she was 86, but if she was actually 92 I would have had her on my Shadow list for this year.  New York Times says 92. Darn Google miss leads me again

Who?  Anyway you or I could die and it'll cause zero waves, so fair enough I suppose.

Man you do put the work in on people nobody ever heard of. Kudos.

Interestinglg her husband during that period, producer Jay Kanter (wiki) is still alive and turns 97 in December.

Judy supposedly met Grace Kelly through his bubble. I doubt he would get a QO though.
