He clearly hadn't feasted on the young yet at that point of the day.

I agree. He was much frailer compared to previous appearances.

Maybe he should get on his bike to look for a cure and keep looking until he finds it.

North Korean general Hyon Yong-Chol is dead at 66:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-32716749

He was executed after committing lèse majesté by falling asleep during a speech of the glorious leader. He was executed by, of course, anti-aircraft fire.

Or maybe he wasn't killed after all?

Michael Fabricant, Tory MP and prospective parliamentary candidate, reveals skin cancer diagnosis. They seem to have caught it in time. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32259005

He actually has two types of skin cancer but just can't stop getting tanned:

I must say I agree with one of the comments under that article.

Here's where I am with wigs... If that bloke walked into a boozer without the syrup on, no one would bat an eyelid. If he walked in to a boozer like he looks in these pictures, everyone would say "look at the nick of that geezer in the dodgy syrup". If I was bald, I know what I'd rather look like.

In the context of skin cancer, the wig actually makes sense (but only there). As for that comment, I need a translator.

They mean that people would comment and point as it's obvious he has a wig on as opposed to just going bald. Why anyone would want a wig that is modelled on Boris Johnson's hairstyle is beyond me.

Sorry, gc - here's a translation of some of the more vernacular phrases:

Here's where I am with wigs This is my opinion about wigs

If that bloke walked into a boozer without the syrup on If that man walked into a pub (or bar) without the wig on

no one would bat an eyelid. no one would particularly notice him

If he walked in to a boozer like he looks in these pictures, everyone would say

"look at the nick of that geezer in the dodgy syrup". Look at that man wearing a ridiculous wig

If I was bald, I know what I'd rather look like.

"Syrup" is rhyming slang for wig. It is short for "syrup of figs" (a laxative) which rhymes with wig.

Heh, thanks, I was puzzled about the words "boozer", "nick" and "dodgy sirup".

"Nick" in this context is really a tautology.

I would probably say "Look at the state of that geezer" but all it means is "Look at that geezer's appearance".

"Look at that geezer" is all that is needed.

Boozer is a common synonym for public house. Booze means alcoholic drink.

'Dodgy' can mean illegal, or counterfeit. Here it means that the wig is so badly made, or so inappropriate in style, that it is entirely unconvincing.
