I'm not 100 percent sure if he's alive, but government sites have no death date and pt wikipedia has marked him alive, if it turns out he's dead I'll remove him. Appears to have died in 2013 per this death registry extract attached. Quote CHILE (Including less notable people up to 1930) Armando Barrientos Miranda (1921-?) Former Deputy, alive? No death date anywhere and marked alive on wikipedia es. Possibly/likely deceased, as his name shows up on a list of cancelled Chilean identity numbers (usually meaning they are deceased) which is available via a genealogical group. The death of Baroness Berners means that there are now just 10 living female hereditary peers (in their own right). The 21st Lady Saltoun, 92 The 28th Baroness Willoughby de Eresby, 88 The 10th Baroness Howard de Walden, 87 The 11th Baroness Arlington, 83 The 31st Countess of Mar, 82 The 8th Baroness Braye, 81 The Marchioness of Lothian/The 16th Lady Herries of Terregles, 78 The 13th Lady Kinloss, 65 The 9th Lady Balfour of Burleigh, 49 The 29th Baroness Dacre, 39 They've been dwindling in numbers for some years. Rewind back several decades ago and there were many more. Why that was the case I'm not entirely sure, but my educated guess would be that two consecutive world wars wiped out a lot of the men, and with certain peerages the women were able to inherit them. Following the retirements of Lady Saltoun in 2014, and the Countess of Mar in 2020, there are no female hereditary peers currently sitting in the House of Lords. I have it on good authority that popular Scottish peer Flora Fraser, the 21st Lady Saltoun (wiki) died this morning, aged 93. Sat in the Lords from 1979 to 2014 as a Crossbencher. Picked in a few pools on the forum over the years. Whilst I'm here, from the above list the 10th Baroness Howard de Walden died back in July, aged 88, but it wasn't reported on here at the time. Lady Saltoun's heir is her daughter, meaning there are 9 female hereditary peers at current.

Ulitzer95 12,585 Posted September 10 Upon hearing that Jeffrey Titford had died, I had a look at the long list of UKIP leaders. Not updated on his Wiki page (I'll do it now though) but Michael Holmes (wiki), Titford's predecessor and the party's 2nd leader actually died off radar last year aged 85. Source. Their oldest former leader is now Lord Pearson, 82, who fronted the party from 2009 to 2010, and quit the party in 2019.

Was definitely confusing because I thought he was going to make it after the first couple of nights.
