Hamzah Haz, Islamist-friendly VP of Indonesia, dead at 84.

Was on my radar as he was hospitalised with multiple organ failure in 2020! Definitely gave the Reaper a good run for his money.

I'd say he is not even the most immortal Indonesian VP. How is Try Fucking Sutrisno still alive? He looked like a decaying corpse two years ago.

Ben Ford however was an MP for 18 and a half years and died without notice for over 2 years.Of course Eastham has had his demise announced within days and has 5 months to get a QO so am quietly confident something will show up.

Abdul Taib Mahmud back in Malaysia following a 3-month hospitalisation in Turkey for treatment of a serious bowel obstruction (and possibly cancer).

On the others, Musa Hitam had a brain surgery in April. Michael Chen made an appearance in January and looked like a corpse. Also, Badawi's dementia has worsened a lot during the last year and he's slowly starting to look like those very old Japanese women. A very frail list.

Edit: Sirajuddin of Perlis (not on the list) has also had a multiple-month hospitalisation recently.

Michael Chen dead at 92.
