ImNotHades 207 Posted January 27, 2016 There was a post on Facebook with old actors and Abe was there so I checked on him and had a hunch but ignored it like usual...and guess what...he dropped the next morning....this is the second time i did that this year... (first with Bowie)...so i checked the survivors/the cast of The Godfather movie (the first one). The list is short. Most of the cast died relatively "young". The surviving cast: Al Pacino - 1940 James Caan - 1940 - 2022 Robert Duvall - 1931 Diane Keaton - 1946 Talia Shire - 1946 Morgana King 1930 - 2018 Simonetta Stefanelli - 1954 Francis Ford Coppola - 1939 2#: Robert De Niro - 1943 3#: Andy Garcia - 1956 George Hamilton - 1939 Joe Mantegna - 1947 the rest are dead or Godfather was the only role so they're irrelevant..... So who do you think is going to join Abe next? My guess is Duvall or Coppola Updated the list a bit*
deadsox 894 Posted January 27, 2016 I voted for Robert Duvall.
RadGuy 1,614 Posted January 27, 2016 Robert Duvall because a musician named Denise Duval died recently and death comes in twos (not threes, as is commonly believed).
The Mad Hatter 1,092 Posted January 27, 2016 Francis Ford Coppola just seems likely to die
rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 27, 2016 James Caan. I'd considered him as a possibility before and I never liked him on Dragon's Den (didn't think it was right with all those Mafia connections - who knows where his money was coming from)).

Chopped Liver 53 Posted January 30, 2016 Robert Duvall because a musician named Denise Duval died recently and death comes in twos (not threes, as is commonly believed). I had Victoria Duval on my DL last year

ImNotHades 207 Posted February 16, 2016 whoops.....Duvall is 85, sorry guys
msc 18,486 Posted February 16, 2016 Paraphrasing here, but Robert Duvall was on the Norton Show a while back. Graham Norton was doing his usual thing, and then started talking about how Duvall has had such a long run working in films without any breaks. "I'm 83" quipped Duvall, "I'll be having a very long break before too long." He probably deadpools on the side.
ImNotHades 207 Posted February 16, 2016 83? He's either still in 2014, has Alzheimer's or Google is lying about people's age....but he looks like a zombie, saw The Judge and he looks at least 95.....
msc 18,486 Posted February 16, 2016 Hence the use of the phrase "a while back" in my previous post.
ImNotHades 207 Posted February 16, 2016 ah, thought it was a while like few months ago, not years ago
msc 18,486 Posted February 16, 2016 I'm Scottish, "a while ago" can mean anything from ten minutes ago to a couple of centuries! Though Wikipedia tells me this was in October 2014.
Cat O'Falk 3,290 Posted February 16, 2016 The episode of The Graham Norton Show in question was aired on 17th October 2014 and the shows are normally recorded a day or two before transmission, so he was 83. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4126532/?ref_=nm_flmg_slf_15

I mixed him up with Jack Nicholsen. Sorry NORTH and Biblio! My posting is now edited to correct the error.
