gcreptile 10,972 Posted March 11, 2018 My pick Shalom Ouanounou died two days ago: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/shalom-ouanounou-death-1.4569257 Well, it solves one of my problems in that I kind of feared that the BBC would report the court decision to turn off his life support, but then not report his death. Now there might be a news report on the similar situation of Taquisha McKitty, which then mentions that Shalom Ouanounou has already died...so let's see... Edit: Also of interest, the Ouanounou case will actually go on... Editedit: If the case actually makes it to the Canadian Supreme Court, as the article suggests, then I think a QO is more likely than not (as a symbol of "religious freedom"). But then how long is that going to take...

Her next checkup in 6-12 weeks. Looks like she's going to have to come through for me in the latter months of the year. I knew she saw the dr and having not heard anything I had figured the worst. Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 29, 2018 Move to 'political' thread if you like but re: Alfie, no court should tell a parent how to medically TREAT their child. This isn't a statement re: NON-treatment like goddamn anti-vaxers etc, where the parents are choosing NOT to treat the child. But in this case the court has zero interest greater than the parents.
