maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted December 23, 2018 So, Noel Conway's survived the immediate aftermath of the failure of his legal case. Tony Nicklinson was gone days after something similar. I'm wondering if Conway will enjoy a last Christmas/New Year and then check out very early in 2019. Bet his DDP popularity goes up a fair way.

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted January 1, 2019 Ooooo SirC's first 2019 obit! An Irish woman who became a “formidable warrior” in pursuit of transparency in hospital care after she was left with terminal cervical cancer arising out of medical negligence in Holland has died. She was 58. Adrienne Cullen, who grew up in Limerick, successfully took on the Dutch health system and campaigned for a no gagging clause policy in medical facilities right across Europe. RadGuy 1,614 Posted January 2, 2019 Inspirational cancer-suffering Purdue student Tyler Trent has died at the age of 20. Deathracer for me and a few others. Sad story, from near my neck of the woods too. RIP.

However, this is the FOURTH GUN AWAY HIT OF THE YEAR FFS. Yeah about time someone died in my Main Team FFS. 3 of the 4 are In B Team because I wasn't sure they would get a QO and I thought Steffan Lewis was more likely to be a 2020 death but he was in my team last year and didn't want to drop him completely. Anyhow as per msc analysis the team as a whole isn't very good so I'm sure it will disappear as the year progresses.
Spade_Cooley 9,530 Posted January 19, 2019 I've decided, cancer mums will not get frontpage obits but will have their deaths recorded onsite. FFBIs will get frontpage obits.

While it is true that now very few "locks" are left (after all, you picked three people I picked myself, Porridge, Littlefeather and Donbavand) you also have quite a few 50:50 cases and you're bound to get a few points there. Sonali Bendre narrowly missed my main team, Clive James could be a hit any day now (or 2020/21), Pete Frates could always have a downturn, and so on... I think you can end up around 100 points with it.
