rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 6, 2017 If the reaper takes a break, then Saward, Wass and Pretre next week? And Parfitt and Adams? Maybe they'll try and spread it to get one big name a week.
rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 11, 2017 Clare Hollingsworth? And who from the back log. Who knows, unless you are the producer of the show. [DL Award 2016 nominee thread]
Joey Russ 7,229 Posted January 11, 2017 Hopefully not Peter Sarstedt at the end. Hopefully not...

rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 12, 2017 ..and there's diamonds and pearls in your hair. Graham Taylor?
YoungWillz 21,067 Posted January 12, 2017 I'll have a punt on King, Sarstedt, Hollingworth, Taylor and Puri.
rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 12, 2017 Then again Tony Booth and Buddy Greco are types they like to cover. And then there's the backlog...ooh, it's all too hard.
msc 18,480 Posted January 12, 2017 King or Taylor, Hollingworth, Saward, TK Whitaker, Zygmunt Bauman, ends on some Peter Sarstedt music (lucky us). One of Taylor or King will be passed over to next week. Ferguson-Lees/Soares/Puri picked the wrong week to die but will turn up on it within a month.
YoungWillz 21,067 Posted January 12, 2017 Hmm, in the event it's too quick for King or Taylor, Smithies might get a mention...
Joey Russ 7,229 Posted January 12, 2017 There's also Richard Adams and Rick Parfitt from archives...
msc 18,480 Posted January 12, 2017 So, basically, they're spoiled for choice.
YoungWillz 21,067 Posted January 13, 2017 I'll have a punt on King, Sarstedt, Hollingworth, Taylor and Puri. Taylor, Saward, Rafsanjani, Sarstedt and Hollingworth are the actual contenders this week.
msc 18,480 Posted January 13, 2017 Four out of five! I expect to see the others on the show before April though, Reaper permitting.
rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 13, 2017 Snowdon came in as a last minute addition. I guess it depends if they have a ready made obit (ie really famous or expected to die soon).
Thatcher 2,418 Posted January 13, 2017 Snowdon came in as a last minute addition. I guess it depends if they have a ready made obit (ie really famous or expected to die soon). A considerably extensive obituary was published on the BBC website within around 15 minutes of the news breaking, so I would suggest they do have a preprepared obituary. Just a guess though! rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 19, 2017 Rachel Heyhoe Flint will make it i'd say but who else? Still to cover Parfitt, Adams etc. Who makes it, no one knows, unless you are the producer of the show.
Joey Russ 7,229 Posted January 19, 2017 Jimmy Snuka perhaps?
YoungWillz 21,067 Posted January 19, 2017 Jacobs, Cole, Cernan, Heyhoe-Flint and King. It's the best punt I can come up with.
rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 20, 2017 Heyhoe Flint, Rafsanjani, Kroll, Blatty and Mancham make it this week. Enjoy the show.
YoungWillz 21,067 Posted January 20, 2017 Thought Rafsanjani was on last week? Or was he ditched for Snowdon?
