msc 18,536 Posted January 1, 2017 You forgot to put my initials by Coward. Sorted - and there's a fair chance she'll be a scoring pick, eh? She'll piss off a whole lot of DDP teams if she's not! But yeah, hospice said the Express. They don't give spots out in those easily.

Toast 16,232 Posted January 1, 2017 I'm guessing you're still working on adding the team initials, MPFC, but one of my picks (Pete Murray) seems to be missing from the masterlist.

RadGuy 1,619 Posted January 1, 2017 There's a mistake in the masterlist, mpfc. You have me down as having Caroline Laws, when I actually have Sharon Laws.

maryportfuncity 10,684 Posted January 1, 2017 Gregorio Alvarez did not survive due to death. Aye, and given the obvious internet evidence we can't score that under Rule 11 And JK has no subs - so I'm asking if s/he'll field one - I'm also asking if s/he'll make sure said sub is clearly alive and high profile enough nobody will cry foul! Put me right if you have to but...I'm assuming the second one - and also assuming you'd go that route on Deathrace because the QO would appear for sure. Thanks for asking mind, cos if Michael Jackson's old mate walks under a bus you can't claim the points now!
maryportfuncity 10,684 Posted January 3, 2017 Is it really the case that we're into the third day with no score Man, I had high hopes for some of the tardy low-hangers on the list. Work with me on this - there are no local obits/ trade paper write ups etc. lurking anywhere that'd get someone on the scoreboard, right?

Yeah, I've been toying with chasing down the email addresses of a few of the lowest hangers and then spamming the lot of them with the masterlist - that'd snag a few points
RadGuy 1,619 Posted January 3, 2017 Well, a few might have died and it went unannounced so far. I try to check the Facebook pages of relatives of two of my low hanging fruit, Alan Aspin and Sara Hankins, many times a day, to see if they've croaked. So far no, but last time I checked was yesterday afternoon, and I won't check again until after school today because I'm on mobile now and don't feel like it. Other than that, I often type in other people's names in the search engine and click "News". So far, all of mine are alive it seems. But again, it's been maybe 12 hours since I last checked, and that's a loooong time for these ill people.

msc 18,536 Posted January 3, 2017 Ah cool, practically 18% of the way to a winner already. And with joker points still waiting on Mario Soares, who must surely be going shortly. Coward, Elias, Hankins, Lakovic, and Sumner were also picked for their days and weeks not months prognosis, so may come good. Anna Holmlund will either be a hit for the Deathrace, or recover, and Nevin/Mcgill/Laws/Downie/Byland are in injury time.

Best updates are likely on Portuguese sites - until his dies, obviously. Anyone hereabouts actuall speak Portuguese?
