The first female mayor of Rock Hill, who was known as a civic booster who was instrumental in building its premier recreational complex and other infrastructure, has died. Elizabeth Josephine “Betty Jo” Dunlap Rhea died Monday. She was 91.

Rhea was mayor from 1986 to 1997, leading the city through growth and development of new industries after the region's textile mills closed,

The first female producer in BBC Light Entertainment Yvonne Littlewood reportedly dead aged 95/96: 

She directed the 1963 production of the Eurovision Song Contest as well as producing some versions of A Song For Europe.

 

Worked on musical specials with such as Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, Nana Mouskouri and Petula Clark .and many more, as well as in production of both The Royal Variety Performance and The Children's Royal Variety.

 

Never seemingly mentioned here.

"People who are neither African nor American", eg black people who are French, British, Dutch etc.

 

My point was that "African-American" is starting to be wrongly used as a synonym for black non-Americans by people who don't think about what they're saying.
