Toast 16,061 Posted February 2 Sad, but a good long life and nicely timed not to interfere with Bruce's upcoming tour. Back in 2013 I had the pleasure of seeing Bruce ignore all the girlies perched on their boyfriends' shoulders hoping to be pulled on stage to dance with him. Instead he disappeared into the wings and came back with his Mom on his arm and they danced together. One of the highlights of the show for me. That explains why her appearances have become so infrequent. She did pop up recently at Wembley to do one song with Bruce, which was lovely. When he came on stage he said "It's Saturday night" which we took as a hint especially as someone had reported seeing her at the hotel.
