Oldest Living State Leaders DP

Recommended Posts

I don't want to jinx it, but I just noticed this list of frail, elderly former heads of state is currently beating the official deathlist in 2019 (by 2 hits to 1). How long do we think it can stay ahead?

So, a brief summary of leaders who are now in failing health and whose demise might not be so far:

1)Hau Pei-tsun: hospitalized in ICU since April the 1st after suffering a not specified "medical emergency". Reported to be half paralysed.

2)Prem Tinsulanonda: out and about, but always on oxygen and often using wheelchair. Multiple recent hospitalizations.

3)Le Duc Anh: hospitalized at 108 Military Hospital since February 2018. His son is posting a lot on FB about his father, so, maybe.... :salute:

4)Jean of Luxemborg: hospitalized with pulmonary infection, condition greatly deteriorated. Dead cert.

5)Lee Teng-hui: has spent more than three months in hospital after suffering fall & cerebral hemorrhage. Now frail and unable to speak.

6)Robert Mugabe: currently hospitalized in Singapore.

7)Daniel arap Moi: unable to receive mourners for the death of his son because of ill health. Recently hospitalized.

2 down , 5  t o go in less than a day- at this  rate they'll all be gone by the weekend- but we all know its's never that straightforward !

@Lafaucheuse and @CoffinLodger, you have to wait for the round to start before choosing your picks. Do you confirm them?
