drol 11,954 Posted May 4, 2020 Well, we are just six men from the end. Here is a quick update on the remaining strongmen: 1)Hyun Soong-jong (1919): Reportedly in failing health ahead of his 100th birthday last year. Has been steadily declining since the death of his wife in 2014. 2)Josip Manolic (1920): Among the lot he has the best health. Apparently no issuues and very frequent appaearance. Widowed in 2003, remarried a woman 30 years his junior in 2016. 3)Kim Yong-ju (1920, 1922): The youngest of the lot, born in August 1922, despite what Western sources say. Lost his post as VP of the Presidium in April 2019 and reportedly is not in the best health, has not appeared in public for more than a year. Suffering from cardiac illness, he received major heart surgery in Hungary in th 70s. Never married or had children. 4)Mustafa Ben Halim (1921): Widowed in 2016, lost a daughter in 2018 (Sherine Ben Halim Jafar, the cookbook writer). Very secluded these days, health unknown, but was decent enough till last year. Living in Dubai. 5)Francisco Morales Bermudez (1921): Widowed in 1998, remarried in 1999. Reportedly very frail, he got a life sentence in Italy last year. Still, was well enough to write and present a volume of memories. 6)Luis Echeverria (1922): Widowed in 1999, has an incredible history of health issues, going from massive buildup of fluid in the brain to recurrent pneumonia which regularly sent him in ICU around 2018. Now seems to be relatively well. When will it finish? Who's the strongest link? Only time will tell. 4

drol 11,954 Posted May 6, 2020 10 hours ago, Donald said: Probably never as it seems to me that noone will announce kim's death formally and verifiably. 1)Why shouldn't they? Brother of Ethernal President Kim Il-sung and a cadre who was widely rehabilitated in recent years, even receiving various Honors. Should at least get a wreath from Kim Jong-un if not a (small) state funeral 2)Even if it is not announced he is a member of the Kim dynasty. Every year South Korea Ministry of Unification publishes an adjourned report on each of them, so they will eventually dig out a death date for him like they did with Kim Song-ae 3)As extrema ratio he will be declared dead for this game as he turns 110 (actual 108) as it is highly unlikely to happen.
