paddyfool 379 Posted March 14, 2018 Well done to the four people on nil points who have so far guessed correctly who would not survive four times out of four. Excellent fourcasting skills!

YoungWillz 21,026 Posted May 25, 2018 Dodged another one with Dean Francis...phew, phew....
Death Impends 7,957 Posted May 25, 2018 Dean Francis's demise deals a blow to six teams, among them CastAway, whose loss reduces us to just three hit-free teams. Though most of Francis's selectors had him in a lightweight position, this likely leaves Bentrovato and paddyfool down for the count. =1. John Key 0 =1. theoldlady 0 =1. YoungWillz 0 4. CastAway 2 5. John Key 747 Posted June 28, 2018 I didn't enter that many deadpools, but I'll find myself refreshing this one because my name is currently at the top The scores between me and the next 20 names isn't that much though - in my top 5 I've got four nonagenarians (Betty White, Bob Barker, Dick van Dyke, Doris Day) who all it takes is a tad of pneumonia to knock them over. I've also got Donald Trump at #4, as long as fox media doesn't turn against him I don't think he'll have a heart attack! We'll see, thanks for hosting so far @Death Impends, this year is a close one!
paddyfool 379 Posted July 1, 2018 Close, indeed, partly because it's been a slow first six months this year. Any of the top 20 or so teams could still take the lead if they miss just one big landmine. Still a proper achievement to have kept a clean slate, though!
Bentrovato 1,085 Posted July 25, 2018 Only just caught up with this again. Forgot I had Dean Francis and am perplexed why I had him so high when he had terminal cancer. Beginners error/outright laziness on my part for not double checking list. Always next year I suppose.
gcreptile 10,964 Posted August 1, 2018 Really glad Lord Carrington didn't make it, as I would totally have picked him.

Joey Russ 7,220 Posted August 6, 2018 Dodged another one with Charlotte Rae...
Death Impends 7,957 Posted August 6, 2018 Sir Creep and theoldlady bet that Mrs. Garrett's upbeat disposition could overcome the Fact of Life that old age and bone cancer don't mix. They were wrong, and Charlotte certainly won't be a Rae of sunshine for their prospects, with Sir Creep now dead last and theoldlady's first fatality reducing the no-hit club to two. =1. paddyfool 379 Posted August 7, 2018 Looking at McCain and Bracknell alone, the odds have to be pretty good that that score will be at least 5/10 by the end of the year. EDIT: Sir Creep, I wouldn't advise getting too comfortable in last place. I fully expect my team to reclaim it before too long.

YoungWillz 21,026 Posted August 15, 2018 Yeah. I picked Aretha quite high on the basis I had her in my DDP team. Unfortunately, the main DDP team is doing rather well this year, so it's a win win situation. Or win lose. Or something.
