Am afraid it is. :D

Right, that's enough for now, else in a few weeks Quim Reaper will post asking "How come you made 1000 posts in 9 months?" and I'll have to say "because I wasted 990 posts taking the piss out of mostly LFN and/or charon!" B)

Well spent!

Alf Dubs was on Radio 4 earlier this week arguing that the Britain that took all the refugees from the Nazis is a very different Britain from the one turning its back on all these child migrants now.

It is not different at all, and it's utterly disingenuous to say so.

We had Oswald Mosely in the 30s and they marched through the London spreading their bile.

We still took in people fleeing Hitler.

There was just as much prejudice then as there is now, Alf Dubs was still sent here because it was safe and welcoming.

It still is.

That Britain First scum are a minority and will continue to be.

We have not turned our backs on child migrants, how do you think there are so many Somali gangs operating in London? They arrived without parents!!

We have never turned our backs on anybody, let alone Europe.

I accept that racists would have voted to leave.

You have to accept that the overwhelming majority were voting to ensure that our Government actually was allowed to govern and not just become some sort of parish council in the great scheme of things.

That is not selfish nor is it deluded.

That is democracy.

It is both selfish and deluded. Remaining in the EU is of great social and economic benefit and believing our government will actually be able to untangle from foreign rule is bonkers. We will be invaded when we leave.

Cancer research is an industry.

It employs thousands directly and indirectly.

I have looked this up and, wait for it, £341 MILLION was spent in 2014/15 by the organisation.

I would suggest the fucking wage bill accounted for most of that and actual research, comparatively, fuck all.

I mean, no more Beagles, all computers and stuff now, right?

Hey, like any good dealer, it was protecting its turf, innit.B)

Would it? Really?

Yes, it needs money, but it needs to spend what it already gets better than it currently does*

The NHS is a charity, and should be closed down, cunts flying in from Europe to earn a few grand a night as consultants shid be taxed 90% :)

Ooooh the poor nurses, to paraphrase another thread, this isn't the 1940's

They're overpaid but not as overpaid as the office staff or GP's or consultants.

You could say that of much government spending tbh (look at defence for example - lots of "we must spend more", nothing on "what do we *need* to spend on"). Governments like to be seen to be doing things, like the chap who always looks busy when the managers in so gets promoted.

Consultants earn (or did last I saw) 98k PA for their circa 8 days a month NHS work , not including private work on top of that.

"These charities" aren't being sued for everything from mis-diagnosis to the way they speak to people.

Or at least not sued on the same scale.

You know sometimes i do wonder if ignorance is bliss. I look into my childrens eyes and it sucks one day they'll be as bitter as me with regards to life. I'm only into my early 30s but i feel as though i'm were my grandparents were with life in their retirement. I think the internet has helped alot of people mature and find the truth about life quicker. Usually you would of had to have lived and long life to figure everything out.

Cancer is curable but not economically viable.

Charities are a business.

Organisations there to help children no doubt we're there to take advantage of vulnerable children.Childline , children in need and jimmy savile pedo rings

The government is the enemy and wants you either dead or earning them money via tax.

TV is fake even reality tv and the news

I could go on and on and i often do so i'll leave it there

All this raging at millennials... it's easiest to stereotype people if you are far removed from them. Thus it's easiest to apply negative stereotypes to "baby-boomers" if you're young, or negative stereotypes to "millenials" if you're old.

Which doesn't stop it being a fundamentally bitter, mean-spirited, and self-deceiving way to talk and act either way. (Statement of bias: I'm too old to be a millennial, and much too young to be a boomer).

As for the "secret cancer cure"" nonsense - cancer is not all one disease; it's a broad spectrum of different diseases of different cell types overpopulating the body in different ways.  Anyone who did have a magic cancer cure would have the world beating down their door, and it would be ludicrous to imagine them hiding it.

In any case, prevention is better than cure, hence why the HPV vaccine, smoking cessation, air pollution reduction, promoting exercise, preventing obesity etc etc are all good ideas, insofar as they are achievable.

As for the claim that doctors are overpaid in the UK... have you seen how much they're paid in other countries (https://naibuzz.com/10-countries-highest-doctors-salaries-world/), and how few doctors per capita the UK has compared to other rich countries (http://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/stats/Health/Physicians/Per-1%2C000-people)?  For too long, we've failed to train nearly enough doctors or nurses, and with an aging population with growing health needs we need to both train more and continue to attract more to come from abroad. Never mind the additional occupational costs of the medical profession in indemnity, training, exam fees, and so on.

No its not.

Continue to attract from abroad?

Fuck that. It continues the population growth, which results in more folk getting old and......needing doctors.

* during my last blast with the fuckers over a cancer diagnosis, everything was "fine" until the specialist fucked off home for a 6 month jolly due to the wedge he was getting paid therefore he didn't need the work. Then 3 other foreign specialists one after the other, all with differing ideas and then it went to shit.

Destroy the NHS now and rebuild it fit for purpose, surgeons/office staff/gp's etc all sacked for negligence so no pay out/pension fucked, and hire on at 60% of current wage. And only hire back 15/20% of the Office Staff. Them cuntesses create problems ffs that then need "solved".

They want to move to Canada/Oz? Go cuntos, but leave your passport, you ain't ever getting back in.

We need another Spanish Flu, but Brexit will help re the population problem.

Right that's that solved.

NEXT////

The Benefits system...... :)
