msc 18,443 Posted October 3, 2019 Dani Filth* (male singer of noughties rock band Cradle of Filth) once tried to pick a fight with (I forget who actually, but a much taller musician so lets call it Dave Grohl just for the sake of the anecdote). Filth is 5 foot 3, so "Grohl" was actually able to do the Scrappy Doo "hand on the smaller persons head to hold them back while they try to start a fight" bit for real. True story, honest. *Not to say he had a rep, but ask most music journos who'd met the band 15 years ago what they thought of him and they all said how lovely Sarah (the band's female singer) was instead!

Skinny kiltrunner 553 Posted October 6, 2019 I notice that Jose Aldunate, a Jesuit priest who was awarded a National Prize of Human Rights, died at 102 on the same day as Jose Jose. Sir Creep 7,070 Posted October 9, 2019 Funeral services for Tom A. Goff will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel at the Fuqua (FEW-quay) Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. WTVY-TV reports Goff died Saturday at his home in Panama City, Florida. He was 102. Goff served as mayor of Ozark, AL for 12 years and also served as a city judge, city councilman, fire chief, police chief, constable and coroner for Dale County. Goddamn good thing he isn't the town's funeral director. SC

Spade_Cooley 9,525 Posted October 14, 2019 About a month or so I was writing a post in the "People You Thought Were Dead" thread for Scotty Bowers, the legendary Hollywood "male madam" and gay pimp to the stars.
