Some people would have 3 hits already, if it weren't for the long entry period. It will likely be around 10 days shorter next year. Also need 2 Wildcard replacements from @Sir Creep. I assigned one on my list already (Clegg). I'll do another. All my moves are well documented therein. SC Edit - (Frankland) new WC for Ali. Only sub left is Michael Collins, and had I to do it over a couple days after I posted, he would have been first sub lol. There's still hope!

We love a bit of mystery to mix things up As the host is aware of these secret bonuses, he will enter a non-competitive team. Seems you could send your list to someone who could randomize your team in an order unknown to you, and send it back after the bonuses are revealed, unless of course they never are totally revealed. This is a reminder that 2 people still have empty Wildcard slots. You don't need to have 5 Wildcards to play, buuut... free points. Why wouldn't you? Clorox Bleachman 2,441 Posted February 23, 2019 UPDATE 1 Hits/Misses Tanya Gendle | disqualified | 2 teams Andrew McGahan | 1st February | 15 teams Conway Berners-Lee | 1st February | 3 teams John Cocks | 6th February | 8 teams Albert Finney | 7th February | 1 team Dick Churchill | 13th February | 1 team Paul Flynn | 17th February | 1 team Fifteen teams hit the ground running after the death of Oz author Andrew McGahan, with 4 of those players cashing in on wildcards. The death of computer scientist Conway Berners-Lee was announced shortly after, but he has since been in obit limbo. Ditto New Zealand's answer to Nick Knowles - John Cocks - who brings misery to a further 8 teams. Tanya Gendle's off-radar death means I cannot award points, nor can I sub in replacements. It wasn't all quiet on the obit front. The sad death of Albert Finney put Gooseberry Crumble in the lead... only to be eclipsed by Death Impends with Dick Churchill, a unique DDP pick on the unlucky 13th! The Old Crem then shot into 2nd place with solo wildcard Paul Flynn. Only 5 teams remain deprived of hits. Scores in full: 1. Death Impends - 16 2. The Old Crem - 10 3. Gooseberry Crumble - 9 4. Sir Creep - 8 =5. Book - 6 =5. CaptainChorizo - 6 =5. FixedBusiness - 6 =8. An Fear Beag - 4 =8. Banana - 4 =8. The Mad Hatter - 4 =8. Pedro67 - 4 =8. RadGuy - 4 =13. He's a hit for you, Banana and msc - if the DDP QO comes through. The scoreboard will be updated in a few hours, with or without points for Parrikar.
Clorox Bleachman 2,441 Posted March 17, 2019 UPDATE 2 [Update 1] Hits/Misses André Previn | 28th February | 1 team Mike Willesee | 1st March | 7 teams Ted Lindsay | 3rd March | 3 teams Manohar Parrikar | 17th March | 3 teams Renowned pianist André Previn was the 4th consecutive solo hit in this competition, this time going to msc. The next day the "Willesee pause" failed to silence 7 teams. And, in the last of a cluster of deaths, ice hockey player Ted Linsday was a hit for a very strong Gooseberry Crumble team and 2 others. A 2-week drought can only be ended by the death of an African despot or an ailing Indian politician. Sadly it wasn't Mugabe's turn this time. The buck stopped at Manohar Parrikar, whose death pushed 3 teams further up the leaderboard. Death Impends extends his lead. Those 5 unlucky teams remain at the bottom of the leaderboard. What's new? Scores in full: 1. Death Impends - 26 2. CaptainChorizo - 21 3. msc - 20 4. Gooseberry Crumble - 18 5. Sir Creep - 16 6. Banana - 11 =7. An Fear Beag - 10 =7. The Old Crem - 10 =7. Pedro67 - 10 =7.
