philip’s creates an interesting quandary, so let’s hope the former Emperor lives.  I guess he will have the first name ‘Emperor’ and surname Akihito.  I’m applying the Prince Philip rule to our 1-named entry.  Sorted!

Akihito and Philip should both considered as such. Emperor and Prince are titles, not names. Would you have accepted dr.’s, sirs or dames?

The editor who added Echeverria to the Recent Deaths page on Wiki also caused death by Wiki for Kirk Douglas a few months ago, somehow being under the impression that an A-list superstar died with little fanfare in 2017.

 

And his source for Echeverria's death was a fake newspaper generator (not a fake article about Echeverria's death - the link was literally the generator itself) so yeah, he ain't dead.
