Tbh I'm a tolerant and accepting person but that election result suggests showing such tendencies may endanger my freedom in the next five years, or summat. Either way, Deathrace late comers have been invited to keep their own score and shame us with their performance. Entry wise it's easily the biggest ever and the tonnage of unique picks in the list makes it hard to call. So does the tonnage of terminally ill types likely to obit in local papers and nowhere else. I'd call out that fact for the blatant barrel scraping it so clearly is but I'd be a raving hypocrite given that I've nominated such a creature as my own joker and - against all expectations - managed to nab that pick as unique (seriously, the last act before logging off for the festivities tonight was to trawl some local media sources and check there's no evidence my joker is already dead!) My best guess is that fast and furious competition will follow with the first acts being checking the accuracy of everything on the masterlist and a few incoming posts generating arguments over whether some of the first deaths occured in 2019. Could be some wild swings in fortunes and - given the tonnage of names largely unknown - I'm assuming those who picked them will keep tabs on their health (or conspicuous lack of it!) 5 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
