Does someone knows if Yvonne Furneaux French-British actress, aged 97 is alive ?
All I know is that she is widowed since the death of French husband Jacques Natteau in 2007 years and she lives in Lausanne (Switzerland). But I don’t know is she is alive because there are no recent photo or interviews of her.

Odd timing. I watched a movie of hers the other night. Furneaux wouldn’t die off radar.

Though there is some controversy as to whether she was born in 1928 or 1926.

I think we discussed her before? Seem to be having deja vu.

She was last heard responding to a fanmail in June 2022. Lives in New Hampshire.

Not true, his son or daughter posted this on FB a month ago and said he was alive celebrating his 95th birthday last January. Just saw his FB profile and full of life, there is no sign of his death.

Someone should delete that fake death date!

Would almost certainly QO due to the Rudolph connection. And almost entirely because of his work on that film.

Anyone know what happened to British film and TV actor Fred Evans? Appeared in a lot of bit parts (The Avengers, Minder, Bergerac, Jeeves and Wooster); he’s a scene stealer as a policeman in Mr. Horatio Knibbles. I imagine he’s long dead but can’t find a date anywhere.

Was still alive 11 months ago at the age of 93, according to this YouTube comment (he was also a dancer who worked on the 1969 TV show Cribbins)

Belarussan-born French actor based in Italy, Jacques Stany, seems to have died in 2016 off the radar, at the age of 86. reports from (Imdb) and (Italian wiki). He played in numerous French and Italian movies.

Yes, I updated his IMDb a month ago. Lived in Italy and died there so it was quite normal that his death was not noticed.

I've updated the page for Somethin' Smith and the Redheads to include full death dates and sources for both Striks and Robinson. I've updated the page for The Three Chuckles for the deaths of Romano, Gilberto, Benti, and Randazzo. The Wiki page mentions one further member, an accordionist called Jackie Farrell who was briefly in the group in 1957. Alas he seems to be too obscure to find anything on.

Another interesting name not mentioned here before is Peter "Pitch" Picciurro, head of the Milwaukee Crime Family or what's left of it.

He also owns a ribs restaurant that looks like quite a nice place. Should be around 93-94 now.

Peter "Pitch" Picciurro seems to have died in January but I can't find an accessable obituary.

Probably the place to post this.

Thought I'd have a wee look at IMDB for Boys From The Blackstuff. Incredibly incomplete. Just a couple of names instantly pop up.

Mike Hayden played the Priest who asks Yosser to call him Dan. Died in 2004. https://www.thefreelibrary.com/OBITUARY+-+Michael+Hayden.-a0113762573

Peter Kerrigan was a well known actor back in the day who I was sure was dead. This link says he died in 1999. http://www.thefootballvoice.com/2023/07/a-history-of-liverpool-thespians-peter.html

Excellent spot Goose.

Similarly I'd like to know if the following are alive if anyone has a sharper eye than me. A few we've covered on here before now. A few are new names:

Sylvia Thorpe (wiki), 96, British romance novelist
Margaret Storey (wiki), 96, British children's writer
Kate Sedley (wiki), 96, British historical novelist
Bernard Long (wiki), 96, British book illustrator and comic artist
Rosie Harris (wiki), 97, British romance novelist (alive in 2015)
Nancy Buckingham (wiki), 98, British gothic and romance novelist
Eric von Gotha (wiki), 98, British illustrator and comic artist
Margaret Crosland (wiki), 102, British biographer and translator

British historical romance novelist Bill Spence (wiki, aka Jessica Blair), 98, I imagine is most certainly still with us as he was covered in the media as recently as 2020.

British romance novelist Katharine Gordon (wiki) would be 107 now so I imagine long dead, but she travelled and lived across the world throughout her life so uncovering a record of death would prove difficult.

Managed to finally solve the case of romance novelist Katharine Gordon (wiki). She died in West Sussex in 2005, aged 90, under the name of Katharine Hornsby. As per Ancestry she had at least 3 marriages, which made her tricky to track.

Pretty sure this is Peter Kerrigan. Justine Kerrigan played Tracy Corkhill in Brookside and he was her grandfather.

This confirms it.

Kristopher Kent Hill, a child actor of the 1980s and 1990s who appeared in five episodes of Roseanne as Crystal's young teenaged son Lonnie and who had episodic appearances on shows like Webster,  Golden Girls, Full House and the Wonder Years, died with little fanfare in 2019. Came across the info in a YouTube video.

The search function is your friend. We've already discussed them both at length before.

FTR – that obit you're referring to was probably used to update Fletcher's IMDb. Why they accepted it I don't know as it mentions nothing about acting and could easily be somebody else totally unrelated.

Rader was born much later than 1921, and there is a good chance of him still being alive. I had his IMDb profile updated with his correct age. I even submitted a newspaper article which supported it, but annoyingly it was later changed back.
