He is still very ill though! In his public appearances he always appears in a chair and looks vacant! A must have for next years list.

Let's all light a joint up in his memory Had no idea he smoked crack. I think I might start calling Rob Ford "Barry White" now. He was caught on camera smoking crack with a prostitute, but managed to turn his life around and become mayor of Washington DC.

That's distubing on so many levels. Norman Lear could be worth adding as a possiblity for next year

I think the point here is that his current status is that he is a convicted rapist and to go straight back to his old job as though nothing had happened and having shown no contrition does not send out a the right message. For good or ill football players are heroes to a portion of the children growing up in this country. If one of your colleagues had been convicted of rape would you expect to see them back in work as if nothing had happened the day after they left prison (early)?

Yeah and he's also been transferred back to his native France, so maybe the all-permeating stench of cow manure will rouse him out of his coma. Also why wasn't this good development covered more on the news? They were all over it when they thought he was gonna croak. Fuckin' TV weirdos.

Jones voice, Prowse body...although another actor did the fight scenes so I'm told!

UKIP are in essence a stalking horse for the far right wing of the Conservatives. They are serving a useful purpose, once that is done they will be discarded and the real people pulling the strings will emerge. I'm voting UKIP, not because I like them but because I like interesting times.

Yeah, I don't get the outrage over the tweet thing at all. I mean, it was just a photo with a caption stating when and where, nothing sarcastic. I don't see anything contentious or offensive. I would guess from the photo that the occupants of the house were likely voting for UKIP, but so what? Honestly, you knew what kind of labotomised West Ham supporter lived there before you even saw him. He probably has a Staffie called Tyson which he takes to work with him. Im no snob but, yeah, I do get it. The problem is we are full of false indignation. Its bollocks really. I could understand it if she'd said something like that but she didn't, did she. What I do take exception to is her referring to "British flags". They're English flags, woman, jeez such ignorance.

Last time I heard that Jimmy Ruffin track was in a mash-up made by a mixer who calls himself Phil Retrospector. He mixed that track with Snow Patrol's "Chasing cars". The video that was made was a tear jerker with footage of the Charly Brown cartoons, that was since pulled from Youtube. Here's that track. https://m.soundcloud.com/philretrospector/chasing-the-broken-hearted Edit: The video is still up at Vimeo!

2022 will be the worst world cup and that is a fact . Empty stadiums though I have a feeling the Qatari's will fill the stadiums with whats left of the workforce (not out of the goodness of their heart but because no one has turned up). But don't worry i'm sure Qatar will buy and import fans from india and rest of middle east . The world cup could cost 200 billion in 2011 Qatar's GDP was 181 billion so who is paying for it? This world cup in 2022 could actually kill the world cup as a spectacle and alot of people come 2026 may have simply lost interest. International football attendance is already on the decline, you start messing with the world cup too and it may take decades to recover if at all. Th whole thing is a fucking joke I hate to see injustice and the fact this report has cleared qatar is disgusting. Nepalese have had their passports taken they're forced to work and haven't been paid in over 6 months in a dangerous/lethal environment and apparently there is nothing wrong with that. Then the messing with the league seasons holding it in the winter , who really wants to travel around Christmas to watch football in the desert ? Not exaggerating but i could probably list another 10 or more glaring errors and problems with hosting the world cup there . I still think the world cup won't be held there it all comes down to money at the end of the day and i think the arabs in qatar will realise even 200 billion is too much for them and fifa will realise there is no profits to be had from 2022 world cup .
