Anyone who has an inordinate amount more free time than me and wants to get into election mode, should probably consider watching some re-runs. Here's the link to them all seen as the 1997 twentieth anniversary one had to be pulled from the BBC Parliament due to the election being called. And with 16 general elections now having been broadcast you can pick one to make you cry or dance on the ceiling (1997 or 1979 depending on your outlook, perhaps?) Some of these are a tad incomplete, others are there in the entirety. They'll all no doubt be repeated on BBC Parliament at some point. 1955 election - Eden's Conservatives returned Note:only 3 hours exist 1959 election - MacMillan's Conservatives returned 1964 election - Wilson's Labour elected 1966 election - Wilson's Labour returned 1970 election - Heath's Conservatives elected February 1974 election - Hung Parliament - Wilson's Labour minority government October 1974 election - Wilson's Labour gains majority 1979 election - Thatcher's Conservatives elected 1983 election - Thatcher's Conservatives returned 1987 election - Thatcher's Conservatives returned 1992 election - Major's Conservatives 1997 election - Blair's Labour elected 2001 election - Blair's Labour returned 2005 election - Blairs Labour returned 2010 election - Hung Parliament Conservative-Lib Dem Coalition government 2015 election - Cameron's Conservatives elected I'll endeavour to plough through these at some point in the future.

10:43pm and my house is still standing, which is a pity because that means I still have to do laundry.

Hah yes, while I believe that medical marijuana could be a great help for some people, in her case, it's probably just an excuse to continue doing what she's done before.

In March, Waffle House co-founder Joe Rogers Sr at age 97, leaving his 99-year-old partner Tom Forkner behind. Now, Forkner has died, the Atlanta-based company confirmed Thursday. Details on the death weren’t immediately released. The partners, who were neighbors, founded Waffle House in 1955 in Avondale Estates. The pair had met when Rogers bought a house from Forkner, who was in the real estate business. They decided the DeKalb County city needed a 24-hour restaurant. It launched Labor Day. SC

Niemeyer was 94 years old when he first appeared in 2002 on the list and ten years later he died 104 years old in 2012. In total he had 9 appearences before he went. so between 2002 and 2012 he was taken nearly in every year on the list.

To be fair Niemeyer was well over 100 when he went. Not sure what age he was when he first appeared on the list.

Apologies for belated reply. PM them or post them, obviously PMing has it's advantages. I'm thinking the best way to show the results might be a live tally overnight on election night as the seats come in. Anything to liven up the boredom of a marathon.

Easy line to draw. Pippa Middleton is famous and a clickbait figure even if an article doesn't mention her family and someone like Ethel Kennedy was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Someone like Bobby Zarin his entire article will be about how his spouse is mourning and is only clickbait for Real Housewives of wherever viewers. Relatives who might be famous because of family ties but are still famous in themselves are easy to seperate from people who were never mentioned before until their illness

Ban the lot, unless they have achieved something deserving of fame that is not connected to their illness or their relatives. I'm seriously losing interest in the whole idea of deadpooling now. I don't like the morbid searching for terminally ill nobodies. It's sick, and it brings a previously defensible and harmless game into disrepute IMO.

Well, being born into royalty doesn't require any skills, it's just pure randomness by nature. Her Majesty Queen Silvia, on the other hand, slept worked her way to her status as the Queen. I think that's far more impressive, although it would've been a more Cinderella-like story if she had come from a poor family in a favela in Rio de Janeiro rather than an affluent German family in Sao Paolo...And yeah, Elizabeth has more power and all, but Her Majesty Silvia is much more wonderful and gracious and lovely and so on. For example, would Elizabeth ever hang out with Skurt? Don't think so.
