1 pointI'm quite new here, but I am familiar with the concept of deathpools. This one has few rules. You need to choose 250 you think won't be alive on 1st of January 2022. The only rules are that they have to be atleast 18 years old at the time you have chosen them and they have to have an English wikipedia page. Only 20 can be centenarians and ten can be animals, if they happen to have an wikipedia page. The animals don't have to be 18 but animals over 100 count as centenarians. Under 50-year olds are worth 3 points, animals are worth two and over 50-year olds are worth 1 point. You can join whenever you want so I recommend joining right now. After 00:00 GMT 1st of January 2022 the points shall be counted and whoever has the most points wins this. My list: 1. Jonathan, oldest living terrestial animal in the world and turtle, 188. 2. 1 pointActually please don't unless you're Hein, Quim or Lady Grendel. I have enough to worry about, totalling bikes, falling into canals, barred from the red light district, then refused boarding without thinking that fucking Deathray or someone is going to turn up as well. Cheers.

1 pointYeah, he sipped on a soft drink whilst Farage had a pint. Also, a Google reveals the interviews Boycott did about his throat cancer, and they tend to confirm he’s never drank or smoked.
-
1 pointSir Geoffrey Boycott was on Talking Pints on GBNews tonight. Looked pretty good, still very sharp mentally. Has never drank or smoked yet ofc had a lucky escape from throat cancer nearly 20 years ago. When asked about his longevity, he said “I’ve made 80. I don’t think I’ll see 100.” Likely accurate but I can see him reaching 90.

1 pointNor me . I accept I'm not the life and soul of even a death site party, but it stings a bit nonetheless to be completely ignored. We'd had a few exchanges, must've been too polite or something, which doesn't sound like me at all.

1 pointWatching an old episode of Give Us A Clue, I had no idea that Libby Morris was still with us and never seemingly mentioned on the forum before. She's going on 91. If A Talent For Loving and The Plank don't instantly get her a UK obit never mind her seemingly endless panel game shows, she might be a cracking choice for the Hartlepool DP (Celebrity Squares). 1 pointHall of Famer Tony Esposito dead at 78. Apparently had a short battle with cancer, but I don’t recall a mention here.

1 pointBodybuilder, coach, and YouTube personality, John Meadows, dead at 49. He’d had some health problems over the years. Probably no need, but I wouldn’t anticipate a QO.

1 pointFormer A’s player and current broadcaster Ray Fosse is taking a leave of absence due to cancer treatment. Apparently he has been battling cancer privately for 16 years.

1 pointFormer Sussex & England player Ian Thomson, out for 92 (local news source). He was, following the death of Donald Smith earlier this year, England's oldest living (male) test player. He played in 5 tests in the 1964-65 MCC tour to South Africa. He once took all ten wickets in an innings v Warwickshire.
