It was my introduction to Leslie Philips. Where else will Christian Slater, Anthony Sher and Harry Enfield share screen time? Rik Mayall's in it too, which is usually a big selling point for me. Books? They might be a bit basic (and obv written for kids) but I still think RL Stine's stuff is better than most "adult horror" fiction which goes on far too long talking about everything except the thing you bought it for.
