How does one MC a 50 minute instrumental piece?

You've not listened all the way through, then!

Drop yourself in around three minutes into this:

I suspect BB will go for power over the subtlety and wry satire of Vivian Stanshall

Ah yes, I had forgotten about the instrument naming.  What a cushy MC-ing job this is!

I just saw him in a 50+-year-old Avengers episode on ITV4, using a relatively normal voice, in the middle of which was an RSPCA advert with an increasingly hysterical Brian voiceover. He’s certainly learned that hamming up it is the best way to please his bank manager.

Is that Sylvester McCoy next to him?

Sadly, Blessed doesn't look especially well here to me. His eyes look very puffy in particular

Old news, right? I mean, they say he's 81.

Brian Blessed's wife, Hildegard Neil has reportedly died: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12629465/EDEN-CONFIDENTIAL-Princess-Dianas-psychic-claims-Royals-consult-mediums.html

An actress in her own right, she appeared in A Touch Of Class on film, and diverse TV roles such as Jason King, Space: 1999, Van Der Valk and The Professionals.

IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0624680/

Quote

With his booming voice and hearty laugh, Brian Blessed lights up any room.

Sadly, he is now mourning his beloved wife of 44 years, Hildegard Neil, who has died aged 84. She was a distinguished actress who played Sir Roger Moore's wife in The Man Who Haunted Himself. She met Blessed on the set of a television drama, Double Agent.

A family spokesman says Hildegard died 'after a long, brave fight against cancer and a heart condition'.

Blessed, 87, has said his 'wonderful' wife called him 'primitive' in the early days of their romance. But he insisted it was a compliment and a marker of 'total sophistication'.

The actor, who has climbed the world's highest mountain three times, said of Hildegard: 'It took greater courage to kiss her on the lips than it did to go up Everest.

Hasn’t she been a DDP selection before?

Still alive on the likes of IMDB and Wiki, presumably because there've been no reports of Hildegard Neil's death anywhere other than the above mention in the Daily Heil and this below, which was posted by TV Producer Nick Shearman on Facebook, that states she died on 19th September.

Of all the photos of lingering cadavers that get shared on this site, that above image wouldn't have especially crossed my mind as one.

I'll bet Brian tried to sell him one of those "Bust The Dust" things he pushes on the ad breaks.

Yeah, I’d say he’s holding up almost as well as Shatner. I guess it’s true, fat don’t crack.
