For consideration in next year's lineup, you can suggest them in the "Ideas and possibilities for 2023" thread.

You’ve just done it.

Alternatively you could use this thread.

More importantly, she wasn't an Uruguayan-born German actress.
She was a German-born Uruguayan actress.

I think @gcreptile will be much happier now.

Jamal Edwards MBE has died. Could've gone in a number of threads: authors, musician etc. Only 31 years of age.

Love or hate the guy's output, you could argue few people have had a bigger influence on British popular culture over the past decade. Absolutely no age at all.

According to BBC News he had been at Brit Awards few weeks ago and was a DJ in London last week. So must have been Covid or something else happened. Cetainly no terminal illness like cancer.

COVID wouldn't tend to kill a 31 year old within a week.

EDIT: Jamal Edwards did a lot of work on mental health and suicide prevention, particularly on the stigma surrounding men. My hunch is on "offed himself".

Shocked and genuinely saddened by this. What an influential, talented and by all accounts wonderful guy.

Never heard of him, but wasn't his mum on Pop Idol or something like that?  I liked her a lot.

Brenda Edwards (Jamal’s mum) released a statement that mentions a ‘sudden illness’. Jamal was DJing Saturday evening.

More likely suicide tbh, he'd done documentaries about "the mental health crisis in young British males" before.
