polar duck 862 Posted January 21, 2023 I was looking over my list and realized I accidentally made a typo. Just been on holiday so haven't been paying much attention to this forum, coming back soon Under the rules and guidelines: Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently - this includes people famous only for their advanced age. Probably the rule I would be strongest on. I don't believe Lucile Randon would be famous for anything other than her advanced age.

That is sad since she was extremely famous; she was accepted in the Derby Deadpool as well. She also has her own Wikipedia page, had been in several documentaries and has a qualifying obit. Does my sub. Pervez Musharraf move up? He is the sub. on my Shadow List. See my list in my signature below. I used my actual Shadow List for this competition. See my list in my signature below. I used my actual Shadow List for this competition. You provided 4 subs with Pervez as your highest sub, and they would move up as appropriate. If a sub passes away I will usually just tag you to make that argument at the time rather than constantly moving everyones names up. On your points for Lucile Randon, what was the subject matter of her wikipedia page and several documentaries? Was it only her advanced age? If it wasn't about her advanced age, was she made famous from them? You can make this argument and defend your pick if you think that she is famous enough in her own right outside of her advanced age.

I have read and seen interviews with her about her longevity and her life - she was about 40 before she became a nun. She worked long after retirement age taking care of others. It is unique that someone was so active in extreme old age. However, all this aside, it does only seem to be about her activities in old age, her being the oldest known «Survivor of Covid 19» and her career as the oldest working nun. She has been included in research about longevity and possible reasons for it, but she did not write the research articles herself (my French is just so-so, so hopefully I did not miss anything out there). So it looks like, if it is ok, to move Pervez to my list and not count Miss Randon as a qualified pick/hit?

When Anita Pointer died on the 31st I asked Rolf Harris be her substitute. On January first I made it clear that I was fine with the top two names on my sub list (Mirisch and Gala) going in for the recently deceased Walters and Benedict. The roster was finalized clearly at that point. While I somehow missed the request you sent, later on on the 1st, to repaste my list it didn't change anything about the team. Even with my missing the message (which yes, I did apologize for) the response, which clarified in bold each substitution that had been previously finalized, weeks before was itself sent well over a week ago (the 18th to be precise).
