Convention is that the resignation honours pass without issue. Although Sunak refused a couple of Truss's I believe, and Boris wasn't allowed to ennoble his dad. Jesus! The naked corruption of this lot! Breathtaking.

Gove is going but not sure if he will become a lord. Hunt will likely lose but again not sure. Shapps feels like the type to get a peerage if he loses. Patel is surely standing again and most likely winning her seat - and maybe becoming Tory leader.

I can’t see the Tory chairman losing - he will get parachuted somewhere as his seat is being abolished. IDS is much more likely to lose than most of those. Steve Baker should also be on the first row - he seems doomed. Oliver Dowden really should be on the top row - I would be surprised if he loses.

Sly Ronnie 886 Posted May 24 Let's not forget, Gove is Murdoch's mole. And on the subject of the dirty digger, it's worth pondering that the old fuck will almost certainly never see another Tory government in his lifetime again.

RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted May 25 Ok, so two things: 1. Is the main headline a precursor to an astonishing volte face from the Mail over who it's backing? (Surely not!) 2. The only Labour PMs since the 70s have been Blair and Brown, so yes BoJo, Keir is going to be the most left wing Labour PM since the 70s, you pillock.

DCI Frank Burnside 3,887 Posted May 25 Wonder will Rishi have a rethink about attending the playoff final tomorrow. He's had a clusterfuck of a few days already. He'll get a "warm welcome" if he goes and appears on the big screen
