That wasn't the first thing that crossed my mind when I read about the loss of his limbs.

It was mine.

Plus increasing the popularity of smaller parties makes them more viable as an alternative. The reason the Greens may win Bristol Central is because Brighton Pavilion has had a Green MP for 14 years and is still perfectly fine (and an excellent MP she has been, we'll miss Caroline Lucas).

The Green council in Brighton was less successful through and didn’t keep control for long.

I wonder how Sian Berry will do. Probably win but only narrowly - she won’t have any of the personal vote and is not a Brighton local.

The reason you've not heard of a Scottish MP becoming PM again is because despite an upturn in form, there are still barely more Tory MPs in Scotland than panda bears in Edinburgh Zoo (the old ones are the best). David Mundell is not Prime Ministerial material.

And, of course Westminster can change the rules, that's why you had an independence referendum!

Not what I wrote, read again.

I think the "generosity" of Westminster re Independence is overrated and hardly an advert for London. (I'm not an advocate for indy btw, Home Rule or a federal Britain, yes).

Overruling the settled will of the Scottish Parliament which it has done twice though is. The whims of either Labour or Tories regarding Scotland are not something I enjoy.

The tonnage of desertions like this is likely to become a big part of the election story, for all Labour want to campaign on the front foot, Tory defections en masse is too good an opportunity to miss.

Christopher Hope

I misread that at first as Christopher Chope.  Is that bastard standing again, I wonder?

I'd like to see him unseated.  Would make up for the Gove disappointment.

Andrea Loathsome is to step down too.

At this rate it’ll just be Gullis and Sunak left.

I’m surprised he hasn’t accidentally defected to a 6-year-old’s birthday Party yet.

The electorate will likely remove her. 11k majority last time but boundary changes have already reduced that an estimated 6-7k.
