For those who don't get the Percy Faith/Filth joke - it's a reference to 1970s British sitcom 'The Lovers' starring Richard Beckinsale and Paula Wilcox. Geoffrey is continually trying to persuade his prim girlfriend Beryl to have sex, which she refers to as "Percy Filth".

Sad that Summer Place is gone, the Percy Faith version is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time, won't go into detail but it means a lot to me.

Are You Sure is the only song in this round I like, and that’s mostly through fond mems of my nan bopping around the kitchen to it. I’m sure once the sentimentality is removed, it’s rubbish. Similar story with Wannamaker and the theme tune to somethingorother. One man’s gash is another man’s gold.

I wondered what was behind your backing of The Allisons, it didn't seem your normal bag. I wouldn't say any of these are amazing, but the ones I'm familiar with are all ok (one of which has now gone). Does it get better in 62-63 or 64-65?

I thought it might be something to do with a film from very early 70’s called “Percy”.I think it was about a man who had a penis transplant.  I’ve never seen it, but a few of my friends from long ago refer to the word “Percy” as an erotic film.

I like it too, but it was obviously doomed.  It's catchy, and I'm sure there's a later song that sounds very similar, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

The only other one I like is The Drifters one.

Oh trust me, if it didn’t, I think this game might’ve been cancelled.

Save the Last Dance for Me proper great.

Didn't know Wild Wind before but warmed to it right away. Less than Johnny Remember Me but I take to Meek easily it seems.

Rest I don't mind but nothing mindblowing.

I like Big Bad John because it has lasting influence on country and folklore.

A lot of these songs I had never heard before and they don't have anything that really sticks out to me like that.

Jimmy Dean's grave has the lyrics to this song:

My Dad loved country music and he planned his own funeral -  Big Bad John (think it might have been a different version) played as we left the crematorium
