They just showed it as if live with plenty of aftermath and an interview with him. And I saw it in HD.  Quite an atmosphere, and good to see it done properly rather than the rather awkward efforts I've seen involving Brits.

Yes, I realise people aren’t generally as sports-obsessed as me (I’m afraid I watched virtually the whole Tour de France live, what a marathon). Of course I’m happy when GB does well, but I prefer my coverage a little more even-handed, which Eurosport usually manages. Having the option of both is good.

I've watched Andy's last 2 matches on Eurosport, and it's good if you want to see specific events, but adverts and the Olympics are just don't belong together (and I realise that's probably a UK-only issue).

I just swap channels on Discovery plus when the adverts hit, though to be honest I'm no tennis fan, so they don't seem to have interrupted much of what I'm choosing to view.

Nobody here has mentioned that the guy who won gold for GB with show jumping (Harry Charles) - his father (Peter Charles), won Britain's first team jumping gold medal for 60 years at the 2012 London Summer Olympics.

 

Harry also competed with a strapped arm after suffering a fracture four weeks prior to the Olympics. Can't knock that determination to beat your parents. Also can say this for Zara Tindall.

Fucking chaos in the fucking BMX as Beth Fucking Shriever who had won every Fucking race in the heats and semis gets nothing in the Fucking final as a slight mistake lets the girls gang up on her and box her out before she's got started. Fuckety Fuck Fuck. Still, she seemed to be enjoying herself anyway, so suppose I should lighten up and be satisfied with 3 Fucking Golds and 7 Fucking medals on Day Fucking 7.

Reminds me of Centre Court going mental during a Djokovic match during Wimbledon after England won the penalty shoot out against Switzerland. I was at Wimbledon that day and sheltering from a rain delay on Court 2 as we all watched and listened on various devices with shouts, cheers and fist pumps there too! But we weren't watching (although I was listening from my seat while play was going on).
