gcreptile 11,392 Posted January 5 We've reached 33 players, and are now in the 32-64 players bracket. As of now, there'd be just one game in February. The rest of players would get byes. But the number of first-round games will increase if more players sign up. The goal is to have a field of 32 players for the March round. The ranking will be according to last year's results (wannamaker seed no.1, max_bossetti seed no.2 etc...), the tiebreaker will be the points achieved in the last game. gcreptile 11,392 Posted Thursday at 10:46 42 players so far. If this stays, the 20 players with the lowest seeding will compete for 10 slots to make a nice 32. Meaning 22 players have a free pass. So if you made the Top 16 last year you have a freebie, also if you did well but still lost. If even more players sign up these freebies will decline in number.
