This is probably very parochial but Glasgow blues singer/guitarist Big George died on Tuesday. Big George and the Business were well established on the Glasgow circuit when I was in my late teens and continued to be so for many years until illness struck him in 2008. An absolutely brilliant man to see live, he never reached his full potential though, mainly because of his own demons, but this guy had a talent I have rarely seen in anyone else. In January he was rescued from a house blaze that left him with severe injuries and in a critical condition, he seemed to have overcome the worst and was released from hospital a few weeks ago. On Tuesday morning George was found dead in his temporary accommodation. A sad loss.

His Obituary can be read here

Can't see any of my other picks going either, would be nice to get the hit and move past the hundred mark though.

Saying that, should the obit come through, the HTML generator will probably not recognise this and place you above OoO because of the name or below because of the name code in the database (as you changed your name, which was alphabetically lower that the Oc - phew!)

I think it would be the latter - I recall looking at some of the profiles for DDP picks earlier in the year and saw that on his more popular picks Bert's wasn't in the alphabetical order, so still coded previously.

If you are black and from New Hampshire, you sing dem blues.

Y-dub I really dig u attaching songs from these artists in your posts. Get to hear these folks for the first and last time in most cases.
