That user missed Persoff off the list though and he's still alive. Probably because the Internet used to think he was born in 1920 or slightly later until it was later revealed he was a 1919 birth.

Also Norman Lloyd and Marsha Hunt. The three of them are probably the last notable Hollywood actors born in that decade.

Alan Parker - everybody loves that man, he's not going to live forever, wonder if he learned how to fly?

Utterly shocking - thought we had 10 more years with him at least. Thank you for Bugsy Malone and Fame.

I bloody loved Bugsy Malone when I was a kid. I probably still know most of the songs tbh.

Fame was absolutely fantastic. The creative mind behind it was incredibly gifted.

Me too, I definitely know all the songs, and I'd put it along with Annie at the top of that genre. As well as Jodie Foster and Bonnie Langford, Dexter Fletcher, who directed the Queen movie, was also in the cast.

Saw a tribute show for Knots Landing's 35th Anniversary special and Kevin Dobson and Ted Shackleford especially look awful, surprised Ted Shackleford is 'only' 68 years old as he could easily pass as being 15 years older.
