I was on the fence about Perrin but you've swayed me, will move him to dead certs. Copeland I will keep in possibilities – yes she had a couple of supporting roles in her heyday and did a voice in an animated Disney film, but Samuel E. Wright (voice of Sebastian in the Little Mermaid) was cruelly snubbed last year. Brother Bear was nowhere near as big as The Little Mermaid. Copeland was famous for her television roles more than anything. 1

Ulitzer95 12,627 Posted October 16, 2022 @Octopus of Odstock, thanks. I've added both Billy Watson and Paul Herman to dead certs. @CaptainChorizo, thanks. Added Chor Yuen to possibilities, and Manuel Ojeda to dead certs. I can't however see Axel Jodorowsky being included. Fairly big film, but not Hollywood, and his only notable role. I've also added Robbie Coltrane to dead certs, and Ted White to possibilities. Just can't see them including Jan Rabson, even if he was one of the lead dubbing voices in Akira. Edit: I've also added Max Julien and June Preston to dead certs. James Olson, Gregory Itzin, Roger E. Mosley and Gene LeBell have been added to possibilities.

Her father was of Mexican Heritage and he was born in Oxnard, California. If that’s true then that’s hilarious. Basically an Elizabeth Warren type. I wonder how common it is in the States for ppl to lie about or at least exaggerate Native American ancestry. Do they think it gives them some kind of superiority over their peers if they claim to be descended from the early peoples of the Americas? Personally I find it a bizarre thing to lie about. Edit: Deadline report. The story comes from her two sisters who have come forward to try and clear their father’s name. Littlefeather claimed he was an abusive alcoholic and that she grew up in poverty, apparently none of which was true. They have also said the family is of Mexican and white heritage only. One thing I don’t understand though… why didn’t her family come forward before now? They must have been benefiting from it in some kind of way surely? Otherwise why would you keep quiet? With this news in mind, I’m going to scrub her from the TCM Remembers predictions. Surely they won’t feature her now.
theoldlady 2,303 Posted October 23, 2022 @Ulitzer95 Native Americans qualify for a free University education in the USA - full scholarships paid by «Indian Money» placed in funds for them. They often get jobs because of the quota system many States still use. If you are in a tribe that chose to allow gambling on their lands and built casinos - then you receive money from it every month! Knew a lady who got 1000s of dollars every month - needless to say she did not have to work. Before the 1960s, sometimes mixed-race people with African heritage would say they had a Cherokee grandparent - that way they would avoid the stigma of being Black. There are also urban myths that Native American men are good in bed - but I digress…..
