I'm currently working my way through Annie Jacobson's cheery new book Nuclear War, A Scenario, which I wouldn't recommend to anyone of a nervous disposition.   

 

Anyway, Bill Clinton's Secretary of state William Perry, 96, was interviewed extensively for the book and is clearly still very alert, with a good recall for previous events.  I just thought I'd mention that, as Perry is a perennial deadpool pick, but there never seems to be any news on how he's doing.

Without getting too political, I do worry about Trump getting his hands on these toys again. I won't spoil it for you, but the 'Devils Scenario' which befalls California is particularly spine chilling.

Fred R. Harris (D-Oklahoma) served in the U.S. Senate from 1964-1973. He was the earliest surviving senator, as well as the senator with the longest retirement - no other living senator retired in the 1970's.

 

He also was the 3rd oldest living senator, as well as the oldest surviving Democratic senator.

Once ran into her years ago while in Somerville at a robotics tournament with my family when I was a young lad - when she learned we were Canadian (my mother apparently didn't pronounce Somerville correctly for her taste), she called us all sorts of names, and accused us of supporting genociders (I suppose the Queen/Royal Family)... According to kids I grew up with, this was not the first time that'd happened.

 

I will not cry for this nasty woman.
