More to the point has there ever been a husband and wife double hit ?

John "A beautiful mind" Nash and wife. He was on the deathlist. They were both picked by a husband-wife theme team.

Mrs. Nash was on a Latino theme actually, completely separate from anyone who picked John.

Thanks, you're right. There was such a theme team, but yes, it wasn't with them. I wonder how that person came to pick her.

They both had/have graves disease (Barbara and George) that's either incredibly unlucky or it could be transmitted from person to person and scientific research hasn't looked into it as yet. They also could be related which would explain alot about George w bush.

A lovely tribute.I reckon he will deteriate after the funeral.Aside from George H W Bush can't think of any other Bush family member who will be troubling our lists any time soon.

I believe Laura Bush's mother is still alive at 99 though.

I think Columba Bush's mother is still alive too but I wouldn't bet on her getting a QO.She has Alzheimer's though and if still alive is about 98.

Almost forgot George H W Bush has a 92 year old sister Nancy who is still going.

Are you implying we're supposed to kill him ourselves? :bat:

Because the grim reaper doesn’t feel like doing it today.

Understandable. This week has been pretty busy for him

New pictures of him from Twitter yesterday at the viewing of Barbara Bush's casket before the funeral... https://mobile.twitter.com/jgm41/status/987419270928896000?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet

I didn’t recognize him at first. Wow...

Probably because of the shitty picture quality and the poor angle.

Anyways, I don't buy that George is dying in a matter of days, I think he has 6 months to a year left.

For those of you watching Bar's funeral right now:

He is looking fairly composed, though I feel terribly sorry for him.

he's been putting  a brave  face  on it but you could see at times he was close to tears.

He is going to have a tough time without Barbara, but it looks like his daughter is there for him- nevertheless, I feel his days are numbered

This one was just tragic. Regardless of ones opinion of his horrific foreign policy decisions you have to feel sympathy for him.
