Toast 16,131 Posted March 11 4 hours ago, An Fear Beag said: Wait a minute! Are you telling me that photos are sometimes altered before publication to make the people in them look slightly better? Well fuck me sideways!! So these agencies are accusing the Prince & Princess of Wales of lying and deception? Nice. Ridiculous, isn't it. It's particularly common with young children in the photo as they tend to fidget and mess about and it's difficult to get one shot where everybody kept still. So you lift a better image from another shot and paste it in. I remember the photo of the late Queen with her great-grandchildren had people crying "photoshop" because it looked as it Louis had been pasted in. Most likely he was, so what? ETA Here's a sensible deconstruction of the offending photo.
time 8,596 Posted March 11 Had Kate not been off the radar since her hospital stay, it would barely have registered. Still if its a simple as choosing the best image of several taken, a simple way of quietening the outrage would be to release the other photographs.

RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted March 12 Tom Kingston (Lady Gabriella's husband) was cremated today in a private ceremony with about 140 mourners including the Prince of Wales but not the King (obvious reasons) or Queen (hosting an event at Buck Pal). Disappointingly predictable levels of accuracy on the Beeb's article though: (nope) (ah, got there eventually ) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68549345

She hasn't been seen because she's been ill and is recovering from debilitating surgery. 2. Because they regularly post family photos, and it was to mark Mother's Day. This whole thing is utterly ridiculous. Practically every celeb photo published has been edited in some way, why don't they "kill" those?

Yes, and Liz Truss and Keir Starmer, cos ppl like to have rants that nobody reads on here. Still, two wrongs don't make a right in this case. There's zero evidence to assume she has anything that will affect her health long term.
