I mean in terms of possible threats to non Gaza based Hamas leadership. I doubt many countries of the world want attacks in Qatar (Where Hamas leaders are) because of the potential of escalating the conflict wider.

This is absolutely nothing new.

You know it's bad when the IDF are shooting the hostages taken by Hamas: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/dec/16/idf-says-hostages-it-killed-were-bare-chested-and-waving-white-flag

The untruth being spun by Netanyahu that all Hamas have to do is surrender. Of course they won't, because they will be summarily executed. Just like these poor people who thought they were safe at last and returning to their homes.

So they don't care who they kill here. Awful.

I can assure you that they really don't, just a few weeks ago a former policeman turned attorney was shot to death in Jerusalem after he raised his hands, took off his shirt, threw his gun away, shouted in Hebrew and tried to give his shooter (an IDF reserve soldier) an ID for him to look at.

Does it matter through how Hamas terrorists die?

Also, you ain't encouraging anyone to "surrender" if you are obviously going to kill them on sight.

Zvi Zamir, former head of the Mossad who most notably dealt with the aftermath of the Yom Kippur war and helped carry out an assassination campaign after the Israeli sportsmen massacre in Munich, has passed away aged 98.

I get the wider point but...there's a three point DDP bonus for unnatural causes and the tradition is terrorists killed in military action count for that.

Arouri was the target, death not confirmed.

If true it's a big one and IDF will soon announce it.

I mean there's Mohammed Deif, Saleh al-Arouri, Abu Obaida, Marwan Issa, Ismail Haniyeh, Khaled Mashal, Rawhi Mushtaha, Khalil al-Hayya, Essam al-Da'alis, Sameh al-Siraj, Ezz al-Din al-Haddad, Mahmoud al-Zahar, Fatima Sharab, Ghazi Hamad, Mohammed Sinwar, Raafa Salameh... you can complete this list with a few minor ones and you're good.

Hamas has confirmed, so he would count, if picked.

Got to 15 names but I couldn't locate my Hamas roledex in time to find another 5 "minor ones"

Doesn’t Israel have to confirm it as well?

There's usually a press conference around 6:30pm UTC for that kind of stuff.
