Tempus Fugit 214 Posted December 15, 2005 I'm new to this so apologies if this has been suggested already. Harold Pinter looks to be worth a punt..... Indeed he does, He has his own thread right here. A surfeit of lager and pies, I suppose that is the Chav equivalent of King John's peaches.
A surfeit of lager and pies 0 Posted December 15, 2005 Actually, I was thinking about Johnny Vegas when I came up with the handle, the chav equivalent would have been a surfeit of Breezer and Pringles I guess. Or Stella and chips...... Johnny Vegas with immense gut, wheezy chest and appetite for alcohol must surely be an outside bet for 2006??

I suppose Mr. Vegas could have a coronary event in '06, but that would be a major punt.

Canadian Paul 97 Posted December 16, 2005 Shoko Asahara is still on death row, pending an appeal. Don't they tend to execute people far quicker in Japan than in America?

Guest iain Posted December 17, 2005 you have to include Charlton Heston.Friends and family reported last march he was 'deteriorating rapidly' with his alzheimers and unable to get out of bed.He could die any day now
Cobbo the Croakmeister 0 Posted December 17, 2005 Deteriorating rapidly is always a good sign. Not long now before he slips towards my old favourite - "Close relatives say he's just waiting to die" I should have added Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins to my suggestions as well. Surely now he's the undisputed Tragic Wasted Sporting Genius of Ireland it won't be long before he's embroiled in a "15 points behind, with 18 left on the table" nail-biter with St Peter. A surfeit of lager and pies 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Having just watched "The Story of the Fairytale of New York", I'd say Shane MacGowan may not last another year. But then, you were probably saying that about him in 1985............
Guest Qadar Posted December 20, 2005 Although I find the site funny, here is the truth: Could be any of you guys as well (or anyone for that matter) , so you could try including your names as well. Here is the Creed: "Be in the world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer." "If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death."
