IF one were going to the Isle of Lewis in September..... (rumours abound)
one would be remiss not to make sure they stood on the Butt of Lewis.

Apparently this lighthouse is the northernmost point in the western isles of Scotland.  This will be cool, seeing as Sir Creep has stood at Pte Pelee, the southernmost point of Canada (prior to his being BANNED from the entire country ). 
Not too many people can claim those two spots.  

FTR I have also stood on the dock at Port Austin, MI (the tip of the 'thumb' of Michigan) and Eagle Harbor (the northernmost point of Michigan's upper peninsula).  And driven to the end of the road in Venice, Louisiana at the tip of the Mississippi River delta.

Seems the far northern shire of Sutherland county in the Scottish Highlands is presently names Farr, but 70 years ago was called Tongue and Farr prior to splitting off as two independent shires.
