Yet another person I'd never heard of.

His death hasn't been reported here yet, as far as I know. Has it been confirmed?

Albert Hofmann is the 7th success of 2008.

He is the 167th hit since 1987.

The DL is now in 14th place shared with 1996 out of a possible 22 lists.

Not bad considering we are only entering the 5th month of the year.

So I can create an own drug and be famous?

I don't think you are smart enough to create your own drug

Respect to the creata. It was this man who introduced human minds to a psychedelic consciousnesses which remains illegal and still very controversial in our lifetimes. Any guest who comes around this neighborhood could never really say 'Hofmann wasn't interesting' and the headline on the front page is my emotions towards this sudden, but unsurprising hit. I've always felt this man's recognition by society in life was for some reason absorbed by 'Timothy Leary'. Everybody seemed to identify Leary as the father of ergots child 'which was really bullshit' and that attention was very undeserved. He has always been one of my favorites, but he joins the explosive trend which I have never really grown weary of.

There had been some mutterings that your absence from this Forum lay in the possibility that you had gone to live with your Therapist, for that 24/7 care you so desperately need.

We were wrong.

Damn you man!
