msc 18,534 Posted January 11, 2016 One bright spark from the Howard Davis Jr debacle is that he got a Mail obit. He may have jumped the gun by 30 hours, but that obit's promising for other athletes, still in play, whose ill health has been ignored by the British press so far. For example, a Czech, and an American basketball player, who come to mind.

charon 4,943 Posted February 11, 2016 Excellent , took a chance on him this year without having had any updates in months. Though GC, it says while he is treated for small cell lung cancer. Not 'non-small cell'....
gcreptile 11,055 Posted February 11, 2016 Ah, true. I only remembered about him that he had a very, very dangerous kind of lung cancer.

Phantom 2,550 Posted February 19, 2016 Considering the recent rants Manny Pacquiao has been expressing over his views on homosexuality. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-35610531 He's retracted on his comparison of gay people to animals. now saying animals were better than gay people "because they can distinguish male from female". After he Nike dropped their sponsorship deal with him, he then apologised on facebook saying he was sorry for hurting people and was "not condemning LGBT" but was still against gay marriage. He also quoted bible passages stating that homosexuals should be put to death. I wonder what his chances are of getting a good kicking?

Why do 'Christians' always quote passages from the Old Testament which has bugger all to do with Christ? I'm guessing it's because they can't find the vitriol they want in the New Testament.

It's because they cherry pick the rules and laws that they want to follow. I bet Manny will happily quote the book of Leviticus while eating a bacon sandwich or lets his wife sleep alongside him even when she's on the rag.

Coventry boxer I would llke to tell you a little bit about my brother in law Errol. He was a professional Boxer, spared with the great Muhammad Ali , trained and fought with some of the great boxers at the Famous Kronk Boxing club in America. He is in the Guinness world Record for holding the most Amature records which has never been beaten. He then went on to train people including Celebrities to box and was a personal trainer. I am asking my friends to please pray for him dally if you can because he is facing the biggest fight of his life. He was diagnosed with cancer. Two tumors on the brain, in his lungs and tumors on his body. He has just been told it's in his bones!!!! Please could you earnestly pray that Jesus would perform a miracle for him. Thank you x
Spade_Cooley 9,624 Posted April 18, 2016 Errol's nephew is Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie, a recent Instagram post says Errol was able to make one of his games "despite his tough time with cancer". Reckon he'll see most of the Euros but he won't be around for the clocks going back.
